MSCEIT: YRV™

Overview

Overview

The MSCEIT-YRV is designed to assess emotional intelligence among pre-adolescents and adolescents. Specifically, it measures the capacity to reason using feelings and to enhance thought with feelings. In contrast to a self-report of one's emotional skills, the MSCEIT-YRV is a performance-based scale that measures how well a youth performs tasks and solves emotional problems. As a performance-based scale, the MSCEIT-YRV provides measurable results that can be used to predict various outcomes.

  • An objective assessment of EI, that uses cutting edge veridical scoring
  • Easy to use scoring and administration for automatic and immediate results
  • Decrease method bias in respondents' scores by utilizing a variety of tasks to assess EI
  • Results you can trust with a normative sample of 1000 youth spread across different age groups
