The ADI-R helps to assess individuals suspected of having Autism or an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Can support diagnostic decisions
  • Assists in differentiating autism from other disorders
  • Provides an empirically validated basis for education and treatment planning
  • Particularly effective in assessing syndrome boundaries, identifying new subgroups, quantifying Autistic symptomatology, and determining the clinical needs of groups in which a high rate of Autism Spectrum Disorders might be expected, such as people with severe language impairments
